Even if you are travelling to Thailand for the first time, you will soon find out how easy and affordable it is to travel in the Land of Smiles. The infrastructure is pretty good and reliable.
Below you can find a summary of different ways to get to us.
If you have questions you can contact us. We are always happy to help.

By Bus and Boat

  • Very convenient is taking the bus and boat joint venture ticket by the Lomprayah company. Their office can be found in the famous Khaosan Road in Bangkok.
  • The Bus leaves near Khaosan Road twice a day at 6 am and 9 pm. The Bus will bring you to Chumphon right to their private pier where their boat to Koh Tao is already waiting for you. The whole trip takes around 9 to 12 hours depending on what time you will leave Bkk.
  • You can check time tables and book tickets here.

By Plane and Boat

  • If you don’t wish to sit hours in a bus or train, you may choose the more comfortable (and more expensive) option of air. You can fly to Koh Samui. The tickets are available at www.bangkokair.com. Once you arrive on Samui you can take the boat and jump over to Koh Tao. There are flights starting from 6.00 a.m. to 7.40 p.m. every day. If you want to be on Koh Tao the same day, you should make sure that the flight is not later than 10.10 a.m. from Bangkok, since you need to catch the last boat. There are two boats every day from Samui. One at 8.00 a.m. and the last would be at point noon (12 p.m.).
  • You can buy your tickets from Samui Airport and choose between Lomprayah or Seatran boats. It will take you 2 hours for Koh To and the price is currently around 700 THB incl. pick up from airport to pier.

By Train and Boat

  • Another quite comfortable option is taking the nigh train from Bangkok to Chumphon. You will arrive at around 4 to 5 in the morning, enough time to catch the morning boat form Lomprayah to Koh Tao leaving at 7 am.
