Beach Dives

Calypso is just a few meters away from the Beach! So in contrast to most dive operators on Koh Tao we are able to offer excellent Beach dives. The coral reef in Tanote Bay is a recognized divesite here on. During west monsoon from April to November, due to rough conditions on the westcoast of Koh Tao, you will find quite a few dive centers that have to drive to Tanote and its surrounding dive sites. With us you can enjoy the beauty of this location so much more relaxed... walk about 10 meters and start your dive with us, and also save money. For more experienced divers, we offer the possibility to dive autonomously within a buddy team as well.

Also for Night Dives Tanote Bay has lots to offer. From cuttlefish in the sandy areas to stingrays, porcupine fish and all sorts of crustacians you will find to discover.

Price 800 THB

Prices for Night Dives are 1000 THB with and 1200 THB without own dive torch.

Boat dives

After we meet at 8.30 a.m. (one our later then our competitors) for or half-day dive trip, we pack our equipment and leave for leisurely boat ride at approx. 9.00 a.m. Once we reach destination, usually one of the lesser visited dive sites on the east coast of Koh Tao, we make two exiting dives. No stress, no crowds on the boat or under water – away from the masses. This is our idea of “Fun Dive”.

Refresher (Scuba Review)

You are a certified diver but haven’t dived for a long time, or you don’t have that much experience, maybe you forgot some important stuff. You need to refresh your knowledge and skills and this program is just made for you, where you can easily and safely get used to the practical and theoretical aspects of diving. After repeating the most important rules of diving in theory and explaining the equipment assembly, you practice with us the important dive skills. Remaining air is not wasted and just after you finish the skills you can have your first dive after a long time of absence in a relaxed and safe manner. The whole program takes approx. 3 hours.

Snorkelling

Tanote Bay and surrounding area is an ideal place, not just for diving, but also for snorkelling and free diving. The coral reef starts at 2 meters. It is not so rarely that even snorkellers see the harmless black tip reef sharks or turtles. You can hire the necessary equipment from the resort or purchase from us.

Snorkellers are also welcome on our dive boat! We visit daily two different dive sites and most of these are great places for snorkelling.

Price 500 THB

If you have your own snorkelling equipment the price would be for a half-day trip at 400 THB, but you can also hire these for 100 THB at our dive shop.

Diving Safari

Continue The Adventure on the West Coast of Thailand! You have still time left after your diving holiday on Koh Tao and are coincidently here between November and April? You can discover the underwater world of the West Coast of Thailand by participating a diving safari as live-a-board. You’ll visit dive sites like the Similan Islands or the famous Richelieu Rock.
